Motor Vehicle Theft: Relationship between Motor Vehicle Theft, Road Traffic Accident and Strategic Prevention

KUALA LUMPUR, 28 November 2020:  In the time it takes you to read this news, your vehicle could be one of more than 3,665 reported stolen vehicle according to statistics 1H2020 from Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC), with keyless vehicle theft technology your car is gone in 10 seconds, in which a car can be broken into in just 10 seconds, left the motorist in tears.

Even an inexperience vehicle thief can steal certain kind of vehicle in bout few seconds if the vehicles owners or riders careless to protect their vehicles.  Protecting your vehicle is easy and not as difficult as you thought.  Help yourself to secure your vehicle such as never leave your key in the ignition, avoid parking at the unsafe area, hide your key fob, cover your vehicle or use extra lock such as steering lock or secure your bike with lock taut to an immovable object such as a ground anchor or street furniture, the light pole for an instant.
