The campaign’s slogan, “United Against Vehicle Theft,” attempts to increase public awareness and promote changes in behaviour that will safeguard automobiles. This mini-campaign is an essential forum for exchanging information and motivating people to take action, enabling people, groups, organisations, and other stakeholders to band together to combat vehicle theft.

According to VTREC’s Co-ordinator Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, in 2023, 12 automobiles were stolen on average every day. “Improving people’s safety requires teaching them how to protect their cars from theft and identifying dangerous parking spots.” Presented as a significant endeavour, the PDRM-VTREC Vehicle Theft Public Awareness Mini Campaign raises public awareness of the issue and provides a vital platform for enabling people to take action to alter attitudes and behaviours related to vehicle theft.
