WANGSA MAJU, 21 Jun 2024: The Coordinator of the Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC), Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid paid a courtesy visit to the newly appointed Ketua Polis Daerah Wangsa Maju, YDH ACP Tuan Mohamad Lazim Ismail at his office, IPD Wangsa Maju, Jalan Pudu, Kuala Lumpur.

 

YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, the Co-ordinator of Vehicle Theft Reduction Council of Malaysia (VTREC) and YDH ACP Tuan Mohamad Lazim Ismail, Ketua Polis Daerah Wangsa Maju exchanging views before the meeting starts in his office.

 

Upon arrival, VTREC was first invited to enter the Chief of Police’s office before proceeding to the meeting room. YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid, the VTREC Co-ordinator and the Chief of Police, YDH ACP Tuan Mohamad Lazim Ismail expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and introduced VTREC briefly before the meeting started.

 

The discussion began with the VTREC Co-ordinator, YBrs Puan Mas Tina Abdul Hamid introducing the role and initiatives undertaken by VTREC. Additionally, both parties exchanged views on issues related to vehicle theft, particularly the frequent theft of motorcycles within the community. Various ideas and initiatives from VTREC were very well received. The police expressed their readiness to cooperate in the future to jointly address the problem of vehicle theft.
